Peikko Designer® FLOOR JOINT is a tool to assist Structural Engineers in the design of floor joints using Peikko's free-movement joints. The tool helps determine load transfer in the joint and checks the design resistance of the selected floor joint type.
Peikko Designer® FLOOR JOINT calculations follow the most prominent design methods and best practices, including TR34 4th Edition - Concrete Industrial Ground Floors.
Depending on the type of floor joint, the tool offers a variety of load transfer systems, including circular dowels, rectangular dowels, and diamond dowels. Peikko Designer® FLOOR JOINT provides a design report including utilisation ratios against determined loads. The design reports are also available in printout format.
