ARBOX® Plus — Joint Reinforcement For Higher Loads

ARBOX® Plus Joint Reinforcement is a re-bend reinforced rebar connection solution for concrete structures, with very high strength in all directions. It provides a ready-to-install solution that eliminates the need for penetrating or adjusting the formwork. This widely approved product is versatile and suitable for establishing various types of connections where is required high quality and resistance.

ARBOX® Plus covered by ETA provides indented surface properties in transverse direction and rough surface properties in longitudinal direction. These properties enable effective transfer of high shear forces to the joint.

The ARBOX® Plus system provides high production speed with reliable quality for concrete connections in both cast-in-situ and precast structures, as well as for combinations of concrete and CLT materials. It is available in various dimensions and can be installed longitudinally or transversally, making it well-suited for creating wall-to-wall, column-to-wall, and wall-to-slab connections.

The pre-bent rebars of ARBOX® Plus are concealed within a galvanized steel box and can be straightened as required. This system enhances safety on construction sites and enables rapid construction of connections in both cast-in-situ and precast structures.

To select the appropriate ARBOX® Plus model based on the required resistance and dimensions, refer to the tables provided in the ARBOX® Joint Reinforcement Technical Manual.

ARBOX® Plus A

ARBOX® Plus model A has two rows of anchor bars where the straight anchor bars of the reinforcement are bent inside the box.

ARBOX® Plus model K has two rows of anchor bars, and the loop part of the reinforcement is bent inside the box.

ARBOX® Plus model C has two bended rows of anchor bars where the loop part of the reinforcement is bended inside the box; designed primarily for short cantilevers. Dimension l1 is made to order.
